Benjo’s Colored Pennies
I personally don’t know anyone who wears penny loafers anymore, I’m not exactly up to date on what the hipsters are into these days so don’t feel the need to follow my fashion sense, but a company called Benjo’s thinks they’ve found a way to breathe new life into the classic shoes.
They’ve come out with a line of vibrant, color-coated pennies that will help make your conservative loafers pop. Not too many people still wear coins in their loafers, they were originally placed there for emergency purposes, but Benjo’s is trying to change all that. The seven colors on offer go by some pretty fancy names like Sherbert, Wet Canary, Nemo Blue, N.B. Greenberg, Gimme Kiss, Flying Fish and Rosso Scudiera. And are packaged in a stylish matchbox design.
